COURSE |
This course is completely within Ravine Gardens State Park. The run/walk will be held on the historic scenic drive, a tree-canopied loop following the rim of 120-foot ravines, dipping to the bottom and climbing back up for a truly challenging event.

The purpose of the USATF course certification program is to produce road race courses of accurately measured distances. For any road running performance to be accepted as a record or be nationally ranked, it must be run on a USATF-certified course. In addition, the certification program is very important to the average road racer, as well as those of exceptional speed. Most runners like to compare performances run on different courses, and such comparisons are difficult if course distances are not reliable. No one can truly establish a personal best if the course distance is not accurate.

In the event of inclement weather the race may be postponed or cancelled with no refunds.

REGISTRATION/PACKET PICK UP |
Pre-Race packet pick up/registration: Friday, October 21 from 8 - 3:30 pm in the Ravine Gardens State Park office (located upstairs in the Roy B. Campbell Civic Center) at 1600 Twigg St., Palatka, FL 32177.
Race Day Registration: Saturday, October 22 7:00 a.m. in the Civic Center Lobby at Ravine Gardens State Park. Race Starts at 8:00 a.m. with awards to follow.

T-shirt, goody bag, post race refreshments, water. Availability and size of t-shirts only guaranteed to those who register before October 1, 2016.

AWARDS |
Top Male and Female overall finishers. Also, the top male and female runners in the following age groups in the 3K and 6K will receive awards: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Top three costumes will also receive an award!

RACE TIMING AND SCORING |
The race will be professionally timed and scored by RaceSmith, Inc. The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the race at www.RaceSmith.com
